凉拌黄瓜 (Chinese Cucumber Salad)

Ingredients

  • 1 Cucumber
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar (prefereably black dumpling vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp Light soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Chili oil to taste (optional)

Method

  1. Wash cucumber
  2. Remove two ends of the cucumber and smash it with a wide kitchen knife
  3. Cut cucumber into bite size pieces
  4. Put cucumber in a bowl. Mix well with mashed garlic and other ingredients
  5. Serve immediately

Mix the sauce together in advance and pour it over the cucumber at the last minute!
