Stir Fried Vegetables

Ingredients

Note that this recipe is very vague and you can make it up as you go along. None of the ingredients are essential except having some green vegetable to fry and having the garlic

  • Vegetables to stir fry (recommendations)
    • Mange Tout
    • Brocolli
    • Green beans
  • Soya sauce
  • Chinese rice wine
  • Garlic
  • Oyster sauce

Method

  1. Chop up the vegetables into bite size pieces, peel and chop the garlic
  2. Heat up a wok or frying pan with a bit of oil in it (~1tsp)
  3. Add the garlic and fry lightly until fragrant
  4. Add the vegetables and stir fry for a few minutes on medium-high heat
  5. Add a splash of soya sauce/oyster sauce/rice wine (any or all) and stir for 30 seconds
  6. Add half a cup of cold water and salt to taste
  7. Vegetables should be ready when most of the water has boiled off
